Quiz 359

If any of the usual quizzers here know question 10, "who is the oldest in this list", I'll eat my hat!

Would you like fries with (t)hat?

Not a guess, not a stab in the dark, it was just intuition or gut feeling if you like

Happy with my 7/10 and 3/5 this week, good mix of several eras of comedy I thought.

Got 1, 3-5, 7-9, 12-14 correct.

Quiz 360 from Hercules!
2/10!!!! The only one I knew was the Taskmaster question. Some obscure ones there, though maybe most here will know the Fawlty Towers one (obviously I know the scene in question, just not the particular detail asked about).

Well done in advance to anyone who scores 7 or more (though I will make no hat eating promises this time!)

Correct: 2 and 4

Thanks for keeping these going.
Unfortunately it was yet another case of all guesses, even Fawlty Towers, so I didn't check my score. The Carla Lane question made me laugh for the wrong reason. I remember a Smith and Jones skit where the next Lane sitcom promised 'drama, pathos and a joke in episode three.'

6/10. Numbers 1, 3 & 8 correct, number 2 an "educated" guess plus a couple of random guesses.

6/10 & 3/5. Had to engage the memory bank on a few, but didn't need to on the newer ones, as I'd never seen them. Up the oldies. 👍

Oh damn, and there's me just put a fresh basket of chips in the deep fat frier - clearly not you age period 😁

Nought?

Thought they would have been more your era, though it was hard, I have to admit - so long ago I'd forgotten I'd written that one!!

Well done Alf, looks like you might be top scorer, on what was a hard quiz................and er yes, up the oldies (I think) 🤔

It was kinda zero cos I honestly didn't know any.

But you're a trier, so bless you my son ✝️ 😁

Late response! 5 out of 10, 2 out of 5 for me.

If at first you don't succeed, give up.

A day late but pleased with my 8/10 and 3/5 this week.

Got 1-7, 10, 12, 14-15 correct. Some interesting bits of trivia in my brain which I'd never have realised were there were it not for these questions.

Wow! Superb Niki, as I wrote that ages ago and couldn't remember some of the answers myself! 😆

Yes, well done and yes, I love rooting out the obscure

Quiz 361 by Alfred!

1/10!!!! I only knew question 3.
Difficult questions, even the ones where I was reasonably familiar with the programme/sketch being asked about.
A chance for the older folk to shine perhaps, but the young hip cats like Michael, Niki and Chris may struggle as I did.

Correct: 3

I did indeed struggle! 2 out of 10, 1 out of 5! I only really knew the Stan Boardman one.
A good quiz though. And nice to be referred to as a "young, hip" anything by A Plate!
