You sound like Rimmer....
Ethno-nationalism, what the heck is that? Another word to bandy at your opposition.

Anyone walking round a shopping-centre shouting "We're a white Christian country!" at brown people is an ethno-nationalist.
Also Hitler.

Part of the incessant gaslighting we get is to be told to somehow treat racism, facism ethno-nationalism and Populism as some sort of 'taste' or 'opinion' that has to be tolerated for the sake of 'harmony'.
Sorry, but that's not going to happen.
It has to be called out and stood up to at every turn.

Of course that depends on your definition of racism and the rest.

If your definition of racism is the police announcing that the perpetrator of a crime is white and English or people (of all races) being concerned that this country is already too crowded, and doesn't have the necessary services & infrastructure, to accommodate a further and continuing influx and if your definition of fascism (or "far right") is the past Conservative government and anybody protesting about the current government, and you are looking for it, then no doubt you will find it.

Nope,
None of the above fit my definitions.

Has Starmer had the nod?
Suddenly, we are on a war footing and spending billions on the forces and weapons.
We're only getting half a story.

Well, to be fair, there's nothing 'suddenly' about it - these things will take years to come to fruition.
The Nuclear subs aren't even planned top start building 'till 2030
It's just the shape of things to come, I'm afraid.
The US are not to be relied on.
And I'm not sure any new administration over there will rush to support Europe - they'll have enough of a mess to clear up at home.
And with 'fringe' countries in Europe voting in Pro-Russia candidates, it's going to be tough.
One bright spot, though, which should cheer up some members of the site.
Part of the package is a commitment to "...developing a home guard, modelled on the army reserves..."
Step forward Corporal Jones.

It was fairly suddenly.

Let's hope they keep and use one of the nuclear subs to keep the waters between here and France clear of invaders

This is what the tories and Boris were planning four years ago (despite manifesto promises to the contrary, of course)

"Britain's army, navy and air force will all be cut back over this parliament despite promises made by Boris Johnson during the election campaign "not to be cutting the armed services in any form".

A five-year defence review, published on Monday, confirms the army target size will be cut by 9,500 to 72,500 by 2025, its lowest level since 1714, towards the end of the war of the Spanish succession.

The number of navy frigates and destroyers will drop from 19 to 17 in the next 18 months. A third of the army's Challenger tanks will be scrapped, while 148 will be upgraded, at a cost of £1.3bn.

A string of ageing RAF planes will be retired in the next couple of years, including 24 first-generation Typhoon bombers, as well as nine chinook helicopters, 14 Hercules transporter aircraft and 20 Puma support helicopters.

Defence sources acknowledged that the air force cuts would reduce logistics and supply capacity at a time when ministers want British forces to be more "forward deployed" in both Africa and the Indo-Pacific."

Jenrick and other tories demanding Labour increase defence spending massively, whilst they were cutting down everything in sight

Just yet another Tory mess this government has to now try and reverse....

Where do you dredge up all this crap from?

They're generally the status quo, bar fascism, and not just in white western countries. Humans like most animals are territorial and prefer to live with their own kind. We've developed pride in our country, its heritage and history and have a well defined sense of nationhood.

When that's challenged by a misguided social experiment like mass immigration and enforced multiculturalism, these once positive traits that helped see off invasion by the Nazis are suddenly deemed negative and repulsive by those with less pride in their country and less sense of nationhood ie. Lefties.

I've said before that it's no good quoting stuff without citing its source. It could've been Bert down the garage who said it for all anybody knows.

Ever heard of a thing called Google?

If you took the time and effort to do some research on your beloved tories and how they've virtually destroyed YOUR country you may be better informed about "this crap"

Quit relying on The Sun newspaper and Richard f**king Littlejohn

So let me get this right.
People who don't have a problem with multiculturalism & who aren't bothered about living amongst people who aren't "their own kind", are unpatriotic?
Interesting take.
