Similar speculation after the Southport incident (speculation, again, encouraged by the Far Right) led directly to rioting and further violence last year.
The details were not released to reassure the public that it was not a terrorist incident. Releasing those details would not have proven that and they could have announced it wasn't a terrorist incident anyway, as indeed they did.
Not convinced by this. You seem to be the angriest person on here.
There are millions of people not convinced by this, because it was the biggest Establishment stitch up in years. We all know it was a terrorist incident, the govt, the police and the CPS all colluded to contrive that he had no terrorist motive for the attack, so they could jail the rioters and stop anti islamist and looser anti muslim sentiment spreading.
He was even charged with a terrorism offence of having an al quaeda training manual but apparently that had nothing to do with the Southport murders!!! And he was found to have ricin at his home, classically used by terrorists, but they contrived to say because he didn't use it at Southport it meant the attack couldn't have been terror related!!! (No, he chose to butcher little girls with a large knife instead, surely that's not less of a terrorist event?)
He was referred to Prevent three times, who crucially failed to prevent the sickening massacre or even get him more closely monitored, despite the evidence they had of his many online searches of mass terror attacks, including the Manchester Arena bombing. He also targeted the same type of victims, young British girls at an event themed on a famous western cultural music icon. But no, we were quite aggressively warned by police chiefs on TV not to spread rumours that this was an act of terrorism. What a load of bollocks! Deeply troubling, dangerous Orwellian bollocks, under wokey Starmer's murky leadership.
