It's down to averages and bottle.
He's not lacking in either.
But I agree, he's not met the masters yet.

Update: They are clearing the path for him. MVG knocked out.

He's just 16 (he looks older...

Yes, I've seen littler 16 year olds.

Littler 3 - 1 up.

It's like Eric Bristow has risen from the dead, squeezed into the body of a 16 year old boy and said, "Let's have it!"

Cue the Smith & Jones sketch :D

He appears to be the real deal (at the moment)
Rob Cross couldn't get near him.

But at 16, and it appears he's been dedicated to darts since he was 3, life hasn't opened up for him yet.
200 grand or more in his pocket might just change things.

Good luck to the lad.

Two words of warning to a teenage sensation who comes from nowhere to win a top tournament: Emma Raducanu

Even though darts isn't a proper sport (it's more like conkers or tiddlywinks), the boy's doing well.

I don't think Luke will get as many modelling contracts as Emma if he wins.

Disappointed with Cross. No kidology, sledging, or dark arts from the former champ. Just stood there with his pants down. Deserves a slap.

Well done Luke Humphries
Great performance

He was the short favourite before the competition started.
He's a sort of under-the-radar player but not to the bookies.
It was a true test of how good young Little was and he's not quite there yet.

Yes I know he was the pre tournament favourite
Yet I hadn't really heard of him before as I only really watch the word Championship.
But he did what he needed to do, turn that world number one spot into the big title, as you have to take those chances when you're on form. and it's your time
I wouldn't be surprised if he wins a couple more though

Humphries Vs Littler on Sky sports right now, should be a good one
