"Dufard" is a series parodying the British telefilm genre, as well as the murder/mystery themes reminiscent of Agatha Christie's "Poirot". Using his wit and charm, detective Pierre Dufard solves crazy and ridiculous crimes, alongside George Beckett, the "slower then his peers" police commissioner. Set in the 1930s in Montreal, Dufard reunites with an old fashioned sense of humour, with the help of a unique, colourful and refreshing French-Canadian cast.
