I just wondered if anyone had an opinion on which were the best comps to enter to move forward in the industry, or is it a case of, if you throw enough of it at the wall some will stick?

I think the in vogue thinking is that the best way to get your work out there is to become a Commissioner or Competition entry reader. In this way you can 'stick a few of your own in', all fully bona fide of course.

Encouraging a parent to become a top Producer might help as well, as apparently it turns out that siblings of those types are often the ones who write the best stuff.

You could try the 'throw it all at the wall and see what sticks approach' but it probably works as well as tired old magic words like, Hey presto! and of course, integrity.
