Originally posted in the Open Mic Gig list thread, but thought I'd make a stand alone for this event.

I run the Colchester Comedy Network and on January 8th we have our first comedy open mic, under the name The NonConformist Comedy Club. We're veering towards alternative material, and for topics to be treated with sensitivity, ie no lowest common denominator jokes.

It's taking place at The Waiting Room (www.st-botolphs.org) which is one of the newest creative spaces in the town. Event details are below:
