I've been reading since before I could write. Then I discovered I didn't have to live with the stories told by other people, I could do my own. Some success in small press mags, two books (a novel and a toilet book, a book to read on the loo, not a book about toilets), several other books waiting....a six month stand up career which I left cos there's no money in it and it took too much time up from making a living. I've since come to the conclusion that there is no money in writing. At all. So now I do it in the hope that somebody somewhere sees it (and that's enough). Tonnes of spoof news on a satirical website, and now I'm going to go for SitCom.
