A member asks: I think my sitcom script is funny, but I have sent it to a number of industry bods who have either ignored me or rejected it. Does this mean I'm wrong?

Thank you for this question. Rejection is, as I'm sure you know, part of the game. All writers face rejection, no matter how funny their material.

You haven't given me an awful lot of detail on why your script has been rejected. There are lots of reason this can happen, reasons that aren't rooted in your material's funniness.

A script that contains jokes but little story...
