12 Yard Productions was founded in 2001 as a joint-venture between David Young and the creative team behind The Weakest Link and Hat Trick Productions.
12 Yard has since become one of the world's most successful entertainment format creators. In 2007, ITV acquired 12 Yard for £35 million.
