I wanted a poster that reflected the sheer enormity of how overwhelmed I felt with becoming a dad, that also reflected my bond with my former buddy, Daddy Pig. Having a pink background was important partly for the gentle nature of what could have seemed a very negative show. I also chose it because one of the things I talk about in the show is the gender stereotypes we needlessly place on children and pink is commonly associated with girls, whereas I'm raising sons, and attempting to do so as much as possible as socially aware feminists.
