A new monthly comedy night in Birmingham is seeking short films and stand-up performers.
Gobby Girl Productions is launching a new comedy night in Birmingham, in partnership with and alternating between Midlands Arts Centre and Mockingbird Cinema.
Ticket sales will go towards its new Gobby Girl Film Fund to support female writers and directors in producing their own comedy shorts that will be screened at future nights.
Films will be screened during the events - hosted by stand-up comedians - and be kept on British Comedy Guide for posterity.
Confirmed event dates for 2025 are: 27th March, 24th April, 29th May, 26th June, 31st July, 28th August, 25th September, 30th October, 27th November, and 11th December.
