Independent comedy magazine CHAFF is looking for contributors for its third edition.
Alternative comedy magazine CHAFF launched earlier this year. The brainchild of comedian Will BF and comedy producer Amber Ash, CHAFF is billed as "an ode to making something just because it makes you laugh", with the magazine having the ethos of "taking funny things and put them in print - no nonsense, no self promotion - alright: some nonsense."
The editors are now looking for more contributors, for their third issue. They're looking for "anything that could reasonably be featured in a magazine but it has to have a certain silliness to it". Your contribution could be a full page like an article, a review, an advert, a top 10 list, an image page or anything else you can dream up. Or it could be a small part of a collaborative page, like a headline for the headlines page, a poem for the poetry corner or a doodle for the cartoons page.
Before working on any material, it is strongly recommended you purchase a copy of a previous issue to ensure you understand the magazine's style. Copies are available from Etsy
Reward
CHAFF magazine is run on a not-for-profit basis so contributions are undertaken "for the fun of it". However, if your submission is printed, you'll receive a free copy of the issue and the editors will promote any other projects/shows you're involved in via the insert they include alongside each magazine.
