"Polishing" is an important part of the scriptwriting process, but it is rarely discussed. A lot of advice focuses on generating ideas and getting started - key elements, of course. But what of the other end of the process?

Your script is largely finished, and you are nearly ready to send it off. Now comes the "polish" - when you review your script, and comb it for mistakes, inconsistencies - and, of course, missed opportunities.
