We were inspired by the Italian poster for Charlie Chaplin's 'The Great Dictator' (Charlie Chaplin sat on a globe) and used that as our starting point. The show is about an atom travelling through time inside various historical characters, hence the giant atom flying through the air! We commissioned Elizabeth Wakou to transform our ideas into a colourful Leyendecker-esque painting to reflect the playful nature of the show, before taking inspiration from more Chaplin posters for the lettering.
