Taking its influences from folk horror and Victorian-style fairground fortune-tellers, the intent was to make an intriguing and unsettling design that would appeal to fans of creepy, otherworldly experiences as opposed to straight-up comedy. The primary focus is on the Crone mask and not the performer, as Liam is entirely immersed in the character of the Crone throughout the show.
