As a show about gender expectations the colour scheme is a nod to the accepted gender binary and the transgender flag. The show contains reference to the movie Big Trouble in Little China, so the poster features the male and female main characters looming over Rob's shoulder, like voices pulling him in opposite directions. Rob's face is washed out like a blank canvas, stripped of identity. The small amount of make up and the font of the title echoes a punk/othering aesthetic, standing outside the normal, and the ripples suggest the confusion of existing in the liminal space.
