Ten Bob Productions is seeking original short film scripts.
Ten Bob Productions is seeking original short film scripts with a strong Northern connection. As a newly formed company founded by a small group of talented creatives, our mission is to develop and produce comedy content that resonates across multiple platforms.
Scripts must be humorous and engaging stories that reflect Northern culture and characters, 5-10 pages in length.
Ten Bob founder, actor and film-maker Liam Tulley explains: "Last year I made this zero-budget pilot:
"After this I decided I wanted to direct more work and build up a portfolio of short films. I currently have my own short in development and then set up the company alongside an actor I have worked with. We're currently in the process of building a website and registering as a business.
"On screen, the plan is to give new acting talent a break and I also work with stand-up comedians I have met on the circuit over the last 10 years. We want to work with similarly new writers who are looking to get something made and don't already have credits. The intention is to submit films to festivals.
"The industry professionals I'll be using are all experienced freelance crew members who I have met working on various projects as an actor."
Reward
The selected script(s) will be produced and filmed by industry professionals.
Writers of selected scripts will be credited and may have the opportunity to collaborate with our production team during the filming process.
