A set of awards for female comedy creators, covering performing, content creation and writing.

Entry is now open for the Funny Women Stage Award, Comedy Writing Award, Comedy Shorts Award and Content Creator Award, with a deadline of 1st June (aside from Content Creator, which remains open until 25th August).

The awards ceremony, which will include the final of the Stage Award, will take place at London's Bloomsbury Theatre on 25th September.

The organisers say: "The Funny Women Awards have been a significant platform since their inception in 2003, providing a safe space and empowerment for women and female-identifying performers and creators to develop their comedic skills and showcase their talent across various mediums. With winners and finalists including Katherine Ryan, Sara Pascoe, London Hughes, Zoe Lyons, Bridget Christie, Susan Calman and many more, the event has helped launch grow countless comedy talent across the UK over the years."
