UKTV seeks new scripted comedy commissioner

Digital network UKTV is searching for a new commissioning editor for scripted comedy.

It marks the broadcaster's continuing push into original programming, and further distance from its origins as a home of repeats from the best of BBC and ITV archives.

Mark Iddon, previously a producer at Avalon, has just been appointed into the equivalent position for the unscripted - Comedy Entertainment - commissioning team.
