Hulu

An American subscription video on demand service, Hulu was initially established as a joint venture between News Corporation, NBC Universal and Providence Equity Partners. Time Warner (now Warner Media) also held a stake in the service.

In March 2019, Disney acquired 21st Century Fox, giving it an overall 60% majority stake in Hulu.

The brand continues to grow, as of 2021, Hulu had 41.6 million subscribers.
