Jay and Yemi are two ambitions teens with a passion for urban music. With Jay's MC skills and Yemi's producing talent they aim to take the industry by storm. The problem is - they're only 16.
With pressures from family and social life, music keeps their friendship alive. That is until the very thing they love brings its own challenges...
At the start of Series 1, we meet the boys as they embark on their journey towards adulthood and attempt to be more than just 'youngers'.
Series 2 starts with the trio apart. Jay has discovered an impressive new dedication to his music and is now recording tracks with producer friend Leon; Yemi has become the leader of his church's youth choir; and Davina, who is now building the courage to stand on her own two feet, attends an open audition.
This show is loosely linked to Mandem on the Wall, the established online YouTube show which charts the everyday lives of three youths and their wall. The Mandem trio produce bonus online films related Youngers.
