Channel 4 hit comedy from the triple-BAFTA winning writing team James Lamont and Jon Foster (Paddington). Starring Game of Thrones' Sean Bean, Dylan Edwards, Gwyneth Keyworth, Danny Kirrane and Rose Reynolds.
An ode to the stupid stuff people get up to when bored.
Having failed to make it as a DJ in Bristol, Kent (Edwards) returns to the Somerset village of Neston Berry to hang out with old schoolmate Morpheus (Kirrane), Morpheus' sister Sarah (Reynolds) and her friend Alison (Keyworth).
The four were left on the scrapheap as others moved on with their lives, and now they're stuck in an aimless loop of cheap booze-and-drug filled escapism. The high points of their low-key, juvenile escapades include popping pills at a pub quiz and a sexual tryst behind the polyurethane polar bear at Bird Zone.
Morpheus soon meets his spirit guide, a self-parodying Sean Bean in full Westeros-style Ned Stark getup, who gives the boy some questionable advice on how to tackle problems in each episode.
Gross-out gags and kidult cartoon humour combine with pop culture nods and weird yet warm characters with believable connections and emotions. Morpheus is into Alison, but she barely registers this with her face constantly in her bong, while Kent and Sarah haven't yet worked out the meaning of a drunken hook-up at the village fete.

If ordering from a UK store, please note that you are in Region 1 (DVD)/Region A (Blu-ray), whilst the UK is in Region 2/B, respectively. This means that many - but by no means all - may fail to play. Look for products marked "Region free", "All regions", "Region 0" or "Multi-region". Blu-rays may also be marked "Region A/B/C", or variations thereof. You may also check whether your DVD/Blu-ray player supports multi-region playback (also referred to as "region free"), or whether it can be set to do so. There should, of course, be no problems with books, CDs, or other physical items.
