Tracey Breaks The News
Tracey Breaks The News. Tracey Ullman
A political and topical offering from
Tracey Ullman. For the first time Tracey is taking on an impression of
Theresa May, alongside favourites Angela Merkel and
Nicola Sturgeon. The show is a mix of famous political figures and everyday people reacting to the results of the general election and the anniversary of the Brexit vote. As the election result will have global implications, the show also looks at the reaction of the Russians, Europeans and Melania Trump.

As part of a recently commissioned raft of satires across all BBC TV channels (including brand new series for Frankie Boyle and Philomena Cunk), Tracey Ullman impersonates Theresa May, Nicola Sturgeon, Angela Merkel and Melania Trump for this one-off political show dealing with the (utter) state of the world and the fallout from the most surreal general election in quite some time.
Ali Catterall, The Guardian, 23rd June 2017
The impersonations were good but the chortles felt like an afterthought.
