The Thin Blue Line trivia

In a homage to writer Ben Elton's favourite comedy series, Dad's Army, episode four, Rag Week, opens with Inspector Fowler (Rowan Atkinson) leaving a newsagent called Mainwaring's.

The episodes on the Series 1 DVD disc are presented in the wrong order. The BCG suspects them to be included in the order they were recorded, rather than the order they were intended to be - and eventually were - broadcast in.
