The Tales Of Para Handy

The classic BBC series The Tales Of Para Handy is finally coming to DVD; a Scottish television series set in the western isles of Scotland in the 1930s.

Based on the Para Handy books by Neil Munro, this BBC series stars Gregor Fisher as Captain Peter Para Handy MacFarlane, and also stars Scottish favourites Rikki Fulton and Sean Scanlan.

The series follows the adventures of the crew of the Vital Spark, as it puffs around the coastal waters of West Scotland and follows the various schemes that Para Handy gets himself and his crew involved in.

The series features plenty of well known faces actors including David Tennant and Tony Curran.

This 3-disc set contains all 9 episodes from Series 1 & 2.
