Featuring guest appearances by sitcom favourites John Le Mesurier, Joan Sanderson and Geoffrey Lumsden, this third series sees Charles's social conscience stirring in response to the worsening unemployment of the early 1980s. But when he decides to defect from the Tories, he finds himself in the political wilderness - and Lorraine finds herself facing a dilemma...
