In 1978 comedy legends Morecambe & Wise shocked the entertainment world by announcing their departure from the BBC, moving to Thames Television.
London's weekday ITV broadcaster, Thames offered the dynamic duo not more money, but a second chance at international fame through film.
Whilst only one feature was completed before Eric's early death in 1984, the double act continued to produce hit TV series for the company, making more than 30 programmes with them - including six star-packed, laugh-out-loud Christmas specials.
Now available together on DVD for the very first time - and three not seen anywhere since their original broadcast in the early 80s - the six feature guests such as Diana Dors and David Frost, Alec Guinness and Leonard Rossiter, Glenda Jackson and Eric's old nemesis himself, ITV favourite Des O'Connor.
