The Mimic is the story of Martin Hurdle (Terry Mynott), a seemingly unremarkable maintenance man who, in fact, conceals an exceptional talent.
What makes Martin unique is his uncanny ability to mimic voices. Stumbling through life, as he has been until now, his mimicry of celebrities and colleagues alike has been a rather fruitless pursuit.
However, in a huge revelation from a former lover, Martin is about to discover that he could in fact be the father of a 19-year-old son. With their first meeting on the horizon, is this the news that will finally kick start Martin into adulthood? And if it is, just how will he use his voices to cope with this life changing development?

If ordering from a UK store, please note that you are in Region 1 (DVD)/Region A (Blu-ray), whilst the UK is in Region 2/B, respectively. This means that many - but by no means all - may fail to play. Look for products marked "Region free", "All regions", "Region 0" or "Multi-region". Blu-rays may also be marked "Region A/B/C", or variations thereof. You may also check whether your DVD/Blu-ray player supports multi-region playback (also referred to as "region free"), or whether it can be set to do so. There should, of course, be no problems with books, CDs, or other physical items.
