The Fast Show trivia
The famous sketch in which Ralph, whilst playing a drinking game had to tell Ted that his wife had died, involved real beer. Charlie Higson says: "The problem was that the game was complicated and nobody could remember their lines. In the end the director pointed the camera at each player in turn and said, 'Repeat after me...' Luckily none of this shows in the final result."
The singer Amy Winehouse appeared as an extra in a "Competitive Dad" sketch when she was 14.
