International catwalk model Mia is declared bankrupt in America and flees back home to London, only to find life has moved on, with her mum Chrissy caring for a teenage girl from her estate and best friend Jo getting married. Unable to admit the shame of her situation, Mia finds herself in limbo, but things improve when a rare modelling job arises.
