The QI App

This iPhone app (which can also be used on the iPad or iPod Touch) is one which is quite interesting. Amongst the features of this app are:

* A fully searchable QI Library that includes the complete contents of The Book of General Ignorance, The Book of Animal Ignorance and The Book of the Dead.
* The QI Library rearranges these texts into 56 themed books on a scrollable shelf, which can be customised according to what you have read or bookmarked.
* Each themed book is short but substantial, designed to be read in ten-to-twenty-minute chunks
* A noticeboard showcases a rolling selection of QI quotations, taken from Advanced Banter.
* The QI Interestingometer: a scale from 'not interesting' to 'quite interesting' you can use to rate other people's facts/
* Postcard to the Elves: a facility to send QI your own facts, backed up with evidence (i.e. a photo, text or a web link).
* Teaser facts (exclusive to the app) related to how many facts you have rated or submitted.
