When the management hand over running the depot canteen to the staff, Stan is put in charge of organising a new cook. Blakey's quite keen on his first appointment, but no one else is!

The depot canteen enters a new era but is it a better era? The busmen get the chance to run the canteen themselves and Stan is put in charge.
He soon runs into problems: appointing an Indian cook who only knows how to cook Indian-style, her spicy curry and teas are soon turning the busmen's stomachs. Stan has to find another option which won't be easy - especially when sister Olive puts herself forward for the job.
