BAFTA TV Awards 2021 nominations

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has today announced the nominations for the Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards and British Academy Television Craft Awards 2021.

This Country has been nominated in four major categories. Meanwhile Friday Night Dinner star Paul Ritter has been posthumously nominated in the performance category.

Elsewhere in the shortlists, Big Zuu's Big Eats and Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing are nominated alongside Long Lost Family and The Repair Shop in the Features category.

In the Bafta Craft Awards, there are nominations for Sex Education costume designer Rosa Dias, production designers Sam Harley and Alexandra Slade, and casting director Lauren Evans. Meanwhile Peter Anderson Studio is nominated for Titles & Graphic Identity for Roald & Beatrix: The Tail Of The Curious Mouse.

The Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards ceremony - hosted again by Richard Ayoade - will take place on Sunday 6th June on BBC One, and the British Academy Television Craft Awards - hosted by Gbemisola Ikumelo - will be streamed on BAFTA's social channels on Monday 24th May.
