Ask Rhod Gilbert, the panel format hosted by Welsh stand-up comedian Rhod Gilbert is to return to BBC One.

Debuting in September 2010, the show offered the public and celebrities the opportunity to ask the panel to provide definitive answers to "the type of baffling questions that keep Rhod awake at night".

Questions posed during the 8-part first series included "Is it true that dogs cannot blow?" and "Who would win in a race, Usain Bolt or a grizzly bear?"

Each week, the Welsh comic was joined by The Inbetweeners star and fellow stand-up comedian Greg Davies, and Lloyd Langford. They were accompanied by a celebrity 'Authenticator', whose job it was to check any answers and root out any interesting facts, as well as a guest comedian and celebrity.

The second series will be comprised of eight further episodes: 4 recorded at the BBC's Pacific Quay Studios in Glasgow, and 4 at BBC Blackstaff Studio in Belfast, from the 8th of September.
