A top cast has been announced for Island Of Dreams, a BBC Two sitcom pilot focusing on Richard Branson.

Created by The Windsors writers Bert Tyler-Moore and George Jeffrie, Island Of Dreams sees Harry Enfield playing the millionaire businessman. Set on his Necker Island retreat, the half-hour programme sees various celebrities visiting in search of advice from the mogul.

Samantha Spiro plays Harry Potter author JK Rowling, with Morgana Robinson impersonating the singer Adele.

Al Murray also stars as Masterchef judge Gregg Wallace, with Dustin Demri-Burns playing physicist Professor Brian Cox, and Jamie Demetriou appearing as eccentric businessman Elon Musk.

Richard Goulding - who plays Prince Harry in The Windsors - appears as Potter star Daniel Radcliffe; with Tom Basden as James Bond actor Daniel Craig.

The cast list is completed by Leigh Gill (Baboo), Shola Adewusi (Jalyesimi) and Rochelle James (Sherry).

Matt Lipsey has directed the pilot, with Sarah Fraser as the producer for Genial Productions.

The producers tease: "Necker Island has white sands, turquoise sea and girls in bikinis serving drinks. We all know that. What we may not know is that Sir Richard Branson has a great talent for solving the problems of our most-loved and messed-up celebrities while they're enjoying some well-deserved island luxury. But does Sir Richard have a more important masterplan - a dark secret involving interplanetary travel?"

Island Of Dreams will be broadcast as part of the BBC's New On Two pilot strand. It is set to be shown at 10pm on BBC Two on Thursday 3rd January 2019.
