BBC Three has commissioned a seventh series of Ideal, Graham Duff's dark comedy about a small-time drug dealer who lives in a run-down flat.

Johnny Vegas will return as Manchester slacker Moz. Due to economic circumstances, the series will see his character forced to resume his job as a hash dealer. The new episodes will also see inept gangsters Psycho Paul and Cartoon Head under threat from The Red Mist, who are described as "a gang of deadly gingers". Meanwhile, pretentious electro-rock duo Lee and Jason will split to embark on solo careers.

The BBC say: "Ideal 7 will continue to push the envelope, mixing hilarious character comedy with horror, pathos and the bizarre."

The new series, which will see the show reaching its 50th episode, is set to premiere on BBC Three in mid 2011.
