Channel 4 orders more Facejacker

Channel 4 has ordered a second series of prank comedy show Facejacker, the live action spin-off from Fonejacker. Channel 4's Head of Comedy Shane Allen accidently revealed the news at the Broadcast Comedy Forum industry conference during a speech in which we was outlining the types of shows the broadcaster was looking for.

Facejacker stars Kayvan Novak as a variety of characters whom interact with the general public. The characters he plays include scamster Augustus Kwembe; irritating complaint monger Dufrais; charlatan art critic Brian Badonde; and dodgy car dealer Terry Tibbs (pictured).

During his speech, Allen praised Facejacker as an example of a well made prank comedy show and casually mentioned he'd ordered another series of it. He then admitted he'd just accidently revealed some news that was supposed to have been kept a secret.

A memorable setup from Series 1 involved Novak disrupting Price Drop TV in characters as Terry Tibbs. You can see this clip below...
