Manny claims that actor David Kossoff is a close personal friend, but soon finds his words coming back to haunt him.


2. Situations Vacant - Apply Savile Row

First broadcast: Thursday 28th August 1969

Savile Row beckons. And Patrick and Manny must answer the call. This is their moment. But the two tailors discover it's tough at the top.


3. Old Soldiers Never Die

First broadcast: Thursday 4th September 1969

The two tailors are having a boasting match about patriotism. Cohen appears to be carrying the argument to extremes when he produces a telegram, in the name of General Moishe Dayan, calling him to the colours of Israel. For once, even Kelly is stuck for words.


4. Arrividerci Roma

First broadcast: Thursday 11th September 1969

A Roman holiday for Cohen and Kelly, and the Eternal City looks like crumbling before the onslaught. Two fugitives from Britain's rag trade at large on the Via Veneto, and measuring up the Victor Emmanuel for a nice bespoke?


5. It's The Thought That Counts

First broadcast: Thursday 18th September 1969

Kelly's birthday ends in a swinging affair for Manny Cohen.


6. And A Brother A Priest

Patrick Kelly takes a coat, and Manny Cohen takes Holy Orders.
