Great Aunt Bronwen is about to arrive from Wales in order to welcome the new arrival to the family. At 84 and with Victorian attitudes, Elizabeth feels the need to find the baby a proxy father - who will, of course, double as a suitable husband.

She also finds she is too late to apply for supplementary benefit and the Health Visitor seems less than impressed with her.
