When Miss Caradog arrives at school looking for volunteers for a special task, Llio, a pupil who fancies herself as a bit of an amateur detective, feels something isn't quite right. Always keen to investigate any goings on - mysterious or otherwise - she sets about finding out just what the 'sinister' Miss Caradog is up to, along with her loyal friend Owen.
The revelation of hefty bin bags and shovels being loaded into her car, plus the sight of 'blood' spilled across one of the classroom desks, causes Llio to suspect the worst. How far will she go to prove her theory right - if she can?
