In the prime of his life, George Livingstone has been made redundant. Now he has to shake himself out of his middle class, middle management existence and attempt to deal with a new kind of life. As he takes his first tentative steps towards a new career, he meets Stanley Binns and he is taken into areas he never contemplated when ensconced in his cosy office.
