Mike is sent into a panic when Gloria calls in sick on the day he has a major presentation with some important clients.

Mike asks Shelley to be his PA for the day. Shelley's not overwhelmed at first but has a change of heart when she realises she will be in charge of refreshments for the major presentation with important clients. With banana butties, cheese spread and crisps on the menu, Mike really doesn't know what he's let himself in for.

Elsewhere, Kenny and Tania are still loved up and the new couple can't keep their hands off each other. Their antics are beginning to get on everyone's nerves. Asif seems to be the only one who is happy to see them together and appropriately names them Kenia.

Meanwhile, Darrel is besotted with Mike's daughter, Ava, who is doing some work experience in the office. His efforts to impress her do nothing but wind up Mike. It's not long before things come to a head and Darrel and Mike have a run-in. Darrel is left in a quandary as he's sure Ava is his true love, but he doesn't want to jeopardise his "career".

Notes

Despite being listed in the closing credits, neither Sian Reeves nor ]Steve John Shepherd appeared in this episode.
