Further details
Week one sees Gary making himself at home in the lavish Laurel Canyon mansion of Ruta Lee, a film star of Hollywood's golden age he once chauffeured in the UK. Despite her attempts to set him straight on the realities of the movie business, Gary believes Hollywood is his for the taking.
In a seedy motel room on the Sunset Strip, Brendan and his camerawoman Kiki - a former cage dancer he met in a Koreatown strip club - plan for a meeting with a venerated producer.
Over on the west side of Hollywood, Shirley tries to use his psychic powers to hustle a free room at the prestigious Roosevelt Hotel. He then seeks PR advice from a publicity consultant who thought she'd heard it all until Shirley divulges his scandalous and shameful past.
