Denis Lawson stars in the series as low-level con-man, blagger, and fame-hungry radio DJ Kit Curran, the scheming self-positioned superstar of Radio Newtown. With the rather strong-armed assistance of his producer Les and the station's bitter newsreader, Damien, Kit regularly causes havoc at the station, something not appreciated by new manager Roland (Brian Wilde).
A second series sees the trio in the west London suburb of Brent following Radio Newtown's collapse, with Les and Damien once more forced by the whirlwind of Curran's plotting to assist in his dreams to achieve fame and fortune with a new, all-encompassing business empire whose focus changes week-to-week in relation to whatever money-making swindle Kit believes he's identified.
Both Kit Curran series have been released on DVD by Network, on Monday 10th September 2018 and are available to order now.
