This final series sees cartoonist Dudley and the girls fending for themselves, with Muriel in Australia visiting her mother. Jacqui starts a job, and Dudley busies himself by converting the loft into an attic studio; since there's now room to spare and he's getting a little lonely without Muriel, Dudley thinks having his boss to stay is a splendid idea. Duncan, however, soon has reason to regret his decision...
