Praise the Lord! Captain Emily Ridley (Thora Hird) of the Salvation Army is back for eight more hilarious adventures amongst the heathens of Yorkshire in this collection of the complete second series of ITV's hit sitcom Hallelujah!.
Aided and abetted by her niece, Sister Alice Meredith (Patsy Rowlands), Captain Emily is determined to spread the word of the 'Good Book' amongst the sinners. Unfortunately, her religious zeal is only matched by her ability to say just the wrong thing at the wrong time! The top brass of the Sally Army would rather like her to retire but Captain Emily won't rest - not while there are still sinners to be saved!
Now she's been transferred again - this time to the quiet Yorkshire town of Blackwick. How much trouble can she possibly cause there...?
