Nicole Kidman talks about working with Hugh Grant, Kylie Minogue believes disco is part of her, Nicola Adams says she didn't think dancing with another girl would be such a big deal, Josh O'Connor and Emma Corrin talk about Charles and Diana, and Jason Manford jokes about panto.

Nicole Kidman joins Graham from Sydney to talk about her new psychological thriller The Undoing.

Asked about working with Hugh Grant for the first time, she says, "We've known each other since our early 20s. We're friends and our paths have crossed, so it was very apropos to be playing a husband and wife that have been married for 10 years because we sort of have that demeanour together.

"I've always wanted to work with him, and I have always been a big fan. When the director suggested him, I thought he would never do it because he is famous for not wanting to work. He says he doesn't like working but he is so good when he does - he is amazing," adding jokingly, "He has a lot of children now who he has to support!"

Talking about singing the theme tune for the series, she says, "The only reason I did is because the director said I had to, and I am a very obedient actor!"

Kylie Minogue, talking about recording her new album Disco, says, "I probably got the best part of six weeks in the studio and then (because of the lockdown) had to keep working from home. We got some professional gear in, but I had to set it up, so I gave myself an engineer credit on the album! I had to use a clothes rack, blankets and a duvet - a home studio sounds far more glamorous than it is!"

Asked about her love of disco music, she says, I guess I was 10 in 1978 and was obsessed with ABBA and I would play my parents' albums over and over again and disco became part of me as a kid. I felt the pull on the Golden Tour and our fantasy version of Studio 54. I loved it and that was when the seed was sown to head back to the disco."

Nicola Adams, talking about taking part in this year's Strictly, says, "I've been asked every year, but I always had training commitments, and this is the first time I didn't. I only had two conditions - I wanted to dance with another woman, and I wasn't going to wear a dress."

Talking more about dancing with another woman, she says, "It is really good to have that kind of diversity on TV. I didn't think it would be such a big deal, but I guess it is for some people. You always have to push the boundaries and show it is just two girls dancing, and that the world didn't end."

Asked if Katya is as competitive as she is, Nicola says, "She matches my energy and she works hard. I have to ask if I want a break or some food - it's worse than having a boxing coach!"

Talking about retiring from boxing and asked if she might go back one day, she says, "No, I've had enough. I've won everything!"

Emma Corrin, asked if she is prepared for the fame that comes with being in The Crown, says, "I have been papped outside my house and I never see the photographers - it is terrifying and weird."

Revealing her first encounter with a fan wasn't quite as it seemed, she says, "I went to the theatre with Helena Bonham Carter and so many people came up to her and tapped her on the shoulder to say how much they loved her work, and of course nobody knew who I was. I then went to the theatre that evening with a friend and a person tapped me on the shoulder and I thought, 'Oh my God, this is my moment,' but she had only come over to tell me I had a label coming out of my jumper. It was so bad!"

Asked about playing Diana, she says, "There was an immense pressure because she was so adored and because there is this sense from everyone almost of ownership, like they knew her, so I went into it with a huge sense of pressure."

Josh O'Connor, talking about playing Prince Charles, and asked whether he thought the royal romance was a strange one, says, "Yes, sort of. I kind of went into it not knowing anything. Ultimately with many of those public marriages there are biased accounts, and you can never really get to the truth - that's quite helpful because we are working in fiction."

Jason Manford joins Graham for a chat. Asked about doing panto this Christmas, he says, "It's a real live panto starting on 12th December - it is so optimistic! We are doing Sleeping Beauty and I haven't read the script yet, so I don't know how anyone is going to get close enough to kiss her. I don't what is going to happen!"
