Get Some In! - The Complete First Series

Get Some In! is set in 1955 when national service was compulsory. The series revolves around four men from contrasting backgrounds, each of whom had received his call-up papers - Jakey Smith (Robert Lindsay) who was a reformed teddy boy; Bruce Leckie, a Scot without much brain power; Ken Richardson, a former grammar school pupil; and Matthew Lilley, the son of a vicar and so, in military mindset, appropriately, something of a lily-livered character.

Posted to 'C' Flight at RAF Skelton, but swiftly nicknamed the 'erks', the four swiftly come face to face with their permanent adversary, drill instructor Corporal Marsh, a nasty, mean, petty-minded and very vocal piece of work who loathes and despises the 'erks'.
