A newly separated Maurice and Deborah are coming to terms with life apart. Amy has found inspiration in an antique book which once belonged to her magician grandfather Felix, and her mind becomes a portal into the strange Baroque world of Baumgaertner. Deborah invites Amy and Donald round to her new apartment, where she is confronted by both her children about her recent separation from Maurice.
